Sandbanks are a good place to hunt if you're a predator as mullet and other smaller baitfish often get washed off the shallows into deeper water where they are exposed. 

While fishing in similar situations, I often pondered a scenario of kob hunting at edge of a sandbank and what it would look like, so I decided to paint it. I liked the idea having a wave rolling overhead to add to the drama and also the fish kicking up silt as it chases after its prey.
