Earlier this year I was pleased to be asked to paint a scene of fishing the Orange River for smallmouth yellowfish for a client now living abroad. I knew it was going to be a mammoth task for the size of the canvas and the detail needed. So I presented the pencil concept sketch and, after approval, I began the meticulous
work until completion.
